Stage 1
- Base Engine: 2.0 TSI - 268 BHP
- Performance upgrade by ECU reprogramming (engine control unit remapping)

- Forge upgraded dump valve
Stage 1 consists of optimisation of engine management software. Before each re-map is performed, various diagnostic and mechanical checks are carried out. Expected gains are approximately +40 bhp and + 55 ft.lb of torque, rev limiter is reset and removal of the speed limiter. We recommend replacing the factory dump valve with the Forge upgraded aluminum piston version.

Stage 2 consists of optimisation of engine management software, performance air filter and Milltek Sport exhaust system.
Golf R system in testing at Milltek. The Volkswagen Golf R, has
been fitted with the latest prototype cat-back exhaust system featuring
an Active Exhaust Valve (AEV). The AEV is an electronic flap which works
on one of dual tailpipes. When closed, the valve helps to keep the
sound volume to a minimum - 86dB on a static test to be precise - but
when you put your foot to the floor the valve opens up and releases
everything that the 2.0 turbo engine has to offer. This feature
certainly makes the Golf R a very easy companion to live with on the
everyday commute, remaining very civilised when cruising and only
releasing its vocal attributes when you want it to.

Front lower arm suspension bush upgrade, replaces standard bushes giving better steering feel and response.
Anti Roll Bar Kit
Larger diameter front and rear anti roll bars. Replaces front and
rear bars giving reduced body roll and sharper steering response

MK6 Golf R Brake Upgrades
Stage 1
Brake upgrade consists of EBC Yellow stuff pads
Although a full race material and capable
of high temperature use with very good wear life, this new formulation sets a
new trend in race type brake pad compounds. The “bite” from cold is superb
which is uncommon with race materials (normally requiring warm-up) and makes
this a pad which can be safely used on the road as well as on the race
track. This new formulation was used by numerous championship race and rally
drivers in 2004 and is truly a milestone in brake pad material development.

Stage 2
Brake upgrade consists of stage 1 with the adition of a better disks, in some cases a large disk can be fitted.
Every time you step on the brake pedal,
your brake pads make contact with the brake rotor to slow your car down.
The byproduct of that contact is heat, dust, and gas. NEUSPEED's
cross-drilled rotors help dissipate this heat, dust and gas to reduce
brake fade and cool down the rotor faster. NEUSPEED cross-drilled
rotors are mill-balanced and each hole is ball chamfered to prevent
cracking. All NEUSPEED rotors are cast to the original O.E. thickness
for durability, and coated with a black-cadium finish to prevent
internal corrosion.
Stage 3
Removes original front brakes and replaces them with Brembo GT Kit. This kit may require wheel spacers to be fitted.

The Gran Turismo System’s level of

Brake fluid upgrade

ATE Super Blue Affordable high
performance brake fluids that have both a high dry boiling point (280 deg C)
and a high wet boiling point (198 deg C), but without being excessively
hygroscopic. What this really means is that these fluids do not readily absorb
moisture like most high performance fluids. Moisture in your braking system can
be costly requiring a complete braking system overhaul! A must for any car
equipped with modern high friction brake pads.
